The Company is looking for dynamic, experienced individuals to join the business as Operations Engineers. Successful candidates may be deployed to work in power generation facilities owned by KE and the initial deployment will be at Keppel Merlimau Cogen power plant on Jurong Island.

Operations EngineerWest - Jurong Island

Responsibilities : 

• Identify, implement and continually improve operations system, practices and procedures to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Operate the plant according to authorized procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the plant and systems
• Apply sound knowledge of the safe operating parameters, controls, precaution and safety interlocks when starting and loading plant equipment and to be able to run the plant in the most reliable and efficient manner
• Record and analyseplant operating data and report defects and abnormalities
• Carry out plant changeover and conduct testing of equipment to meet statutory compliance and best industry practices
• Support plant’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality system and procedures
• Deployed to work in any power generation facilities owned by KE Group

Requirements :

1. Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Process Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of working experience in a CCPP or related industry
2. Those with an Engineering Diploma with at least 5 years’ working experience in a CCPP or related industry will also be considered
3. Operational experience with F-class Combine Cycle Gas Turbine would be advantageous
4. Strong analytical skills with good command of written and spoken English
5. Self-motivated, independent and is a team player
6. Able to work on rotating 12-hour shifts
7. Position is based at Jurong Island. Transport will be provided at Jurong East MRT Station.
